Back Packs for Kids
We supply 1,000 – 1,500 Northern Michigan children with backpacks each school year. These backpacks are basic necessities for today’s school children and one we can provide while reducing the burden their families face in hard times.

Fresh Water Service
Michigan is home to a third of all the world’s fresh water. Many are not so lucky. Beginning in 2010 our group committed to helping communities in Honduras maintain fresh water reserves where families live with water supplies which are not fit for consumption.

Sunrise Foundation
The Sunrise Foundation is a 501(c)3 dedicated to funding grants and coordinating with partners. Through the Sunrise Foundation our club provides services to those in need by financing International Rotary projects and our partners here in Traverse City.
